Choosing a radio for the purpose of DXing can potentially be a harsh task, so in this section, I will go over a few factors, namely: DSP (digital signal processor) vs transistorized designs, improving the performance of otherwise subpar radios, and external peripherals, such as reel antennas and recorders.
